Directions & Parking
The Roxy Theater is located in the Historic SouthSide Business District of Downtown Missoula on the “Hip Strip.”
From the South, take Highway 93 North and continue on Brooks Street to Higgins Ave. The theater will be on your right after S. 6th St.
From Interstate 90, take the Orange St. exit heading South and continue to S. 6th. St. Turn left (one way, heading East) and proceed to Higgins Ave. and turn left (heading North). The theater is on your right between S. 5th and S. 6th Streets next to Missoula Bicycle Works.
From the University of Montana, take S. 5th St. (one way, heading west) to Higgins Ave. and turn left (heading South). The theater is on your left between 5th and 6th St.
Parking
Parking is available on-street during business hours and is not metered. Additional parking is available after 5pm across Higgins Ave. at the Missoula Senior Center when they are not hosting an event. Please use caution and use designated crosswalks.
The Roxy Annex & Garden
The Roxy Annex is a micro-cinema that seats 25 people. Construction on the Roxy Annex began in October 2019 and was completed during the COVID-19 shutdown. The Roxy Annex is located at 730 S Higgins, right next door the historic Roxy Theater. The Annex is a stand alone facility where you can purchase your tickets and all your favorite movie concessions, including Triple-Organic-Popcorn. The Annex is available to rent and is excellent for private screenings and video game parties.
The Roxy Garden is a small outdoor film and event space. Roxy patrons can enjoy a late night movie, improv and stand up comedy, and live music in the Garden. The Garden can be reached by entering the alley between 5th and 6th streets directly behind the Roxy Theater. Comfortable camp chairs with cup holders are provided. All Roxy concessions and tickets can be purchased in the Garden. No outside food or beverages are allowed. The Roxy Garden cannot operate in bad weather including rain and wind.
Accessibility
Each theater has two dedicated wheelchair-accessible areas. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Closed-captioning screens and descriptive audio/assistive listening headphones available upon request.
When available on new first run films, the last screening Monday, the first screening Tuesday and weekend matinée screenings will provide open captioning.
With at least 24 hour notice we can usually add additional screenings upon request. There’s a form on our contact page where you can request a screening appear with open captions.
