“Someone You Love: The HPV Epidemic” is a feature length in-depth documentary on the HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS (HPV) and the stories of struggle, tragedy and triumph surrounding this complicated and often misunderstood infection. This film will educate, shock, reveal, entertain and maybe even save lives.

The Human Papilloma Virus, HPV may be the most widespread, misunderstood and potentially dangerous epidemic that most people hardly know anything about. Eighty percent of all people under 50 years of age will have a strain of the virus at some point in their lives and most will not even realize they have it. Cervical cancer is almost exclusively caused by HPV and it is the 2nd leading cancer in women. Worldwide, cervical cancer kills over 250,000 women every year. Meet five unforgettable women whose lives have been changed forever and even interrupted by this deadly virus. Narrated by Vanessa Williams.
