On the evening of June 21st, the Roxy Theater will screen G-Dog, a documentary featuring Boyle and Homeboy Industries. This 93-minute film was directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Freida Lee Mock and will be followed by a brief talk-back featuring local re-entry experts. This event is sponsored and hosted by MIC and Welcome Back. The film screening is one event in the month-long series of events called Re-Entry Month. Re-Entry Month will provide the community a multitude of opportunities to understand our current approach to incarceration and inspire an imagination for how a more progressive and compassionate approach might better serve the needs of our community and the individuals and families therein.
